Last Saturday, I had the pleasure of visiting The Daily Cafe & Bistro Prestige, situated at Prestige Plaza, Ngong Road, Nairobi. It was a beautiful afternoon, and I decided to treat myself to a delightful meal at this cozy bistro.
The moment I walked in, the warm ambiance and inviting aroma of freshly baked pastries filled the air, setting the perfect tone for my visit. I was immediately greeted by James, one of the attendants, whose friendly demeanor made me feel right at home.
I browsed through the menu and settled on trying their famous Quiche Lorraine, priced at just KES 450. This savory pie was packed with flavor, filled with a rich blend of eggs, cheese, and crispy bacon, all enveloped in a perfectly flaky crust. Each bite was a delightful experience, complemented by a fresh side salad that added a vibrant touch to the dish.
For dessert, I couldn’t resist sampling one of their freshly made chocolate croissants, which were expertly crafted and sold at a reasonable KES 200. The croissant was flaky on the outside and filled with a luscious chocolate filling that melted in my mouth—it was simply divine!
What truly stood out during my visit was the superb service provided by James. He was attentive without being intrusive, checking in on my meal while also recommending the best coffee to pair with my dessert. His enthusiasm clearly reflected his passion for the bistro, and it made my dining experience all the more enjoyable.

I left the bistro not only full but also with a happy heart, knowing I had discovered a little gem in Nairobi. The quality of the food, paired with such genuine service, means I will undoubtedly be returning soon.
