As a frequent visitor to Nairobi, I can confidently say that Artcaffé Argwings, located at Rubis Petrol Station on Woodlands Rd, is a gem. Just the other afternoon, I found myself craving something sweet and cozy, so I decided to drop by around 3 PM.
Upon entering, I was greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere. The decor is stylish yet comfortable, making it a perfect spot for both casual gatherings and formal meetings. The staff members were attentive and welcoming, making me feel right at home. Special shoutout to Sarah, one of the waitresses, who offered insightful recommendations and excellent service throughout my visit.
I started off with their renowned Sliced Chocolate- indulgence Cake. The slice was generously large, rich, and decadent, making it an absolute indulgence that I won't soon forget. It’s beautiful presentation and rich taste truly justify its reputation. I can definitely see why they call it ‘indulgence’! Along with my cake, I also treated myself to a cup of their signature cappuccino. The coffee was rich and smooth, perfectly complementing the cake's sweetness. Priced reasonably at around KES 350 for the cappuccino, I felt like I was enjoying a five-star café experience at an incredibly low price.
Not to leave without trying another of their famous slices, I also ordered the Sliced Carrot Cake. The flavors in the carrot cake were incredibly fresh, with a touch of spice that added warmth to each bite. Throughout my time at Artcaffé, it was hard not to notice the variety of patrons—families, business meetings, and friends catching up, all enjoying the blissful ambiance and quality food. The establishment truly caters to everyone, providing a delightful selection regardless of the occasion.
The prices for the quality of food and service are unbeatable. For the quality desserts and the excellent coffee, I felt like I got more than my money's worth! I left Artcaffé Argwings not just with a satisfied palate but also with a happy heart.
