Last weekend, I had the pleasure of visiting Artcaffé Market Shell located at Hyrax Hotel, Nakuru, and I must say, it was an absolute delight. The ambiance was relaxed yet sophisticated, making it the perfect place for a casual catch-up with friends. I arrived around 3 PM, just in time for a nice afternoon break.
Upon stepping in, I was greeted by the friendly staff, and my eyes were immediately drawn to the variety of pastries and coffee on display. I decided to indulge in their famous freshly baked pastries, particularly the croissant, which was crispy on the outside and deliciously fluffy inside. The quality was evident in every bite, and it was truly a value-for-money experience!
While I was there, I couldn’t help but notice how busy the café was, yet the service remained prompt and attentive. One of the waiters, John, was exceptional in ensuring that my experience was nothing short of delightful. He was knowledgeable about the menu and even offered suggestions based on my preferences. I appreciated that he was always around to refill my coffee, which, by the way, was expertly brewed—smooth and aromatic, perfect to complement my pastry.
Besides the delicious food and intimate setting, what stood out to me was the accessibility of the place. Artcaffé is not just a simple coffee shop; it’s a versatile establishment catering to various occasions—from quick Grab & Go items to leisurely lunches and even Happy Hour gatherings!
