Recently, I had the pleasure of visiting Artcaffé Rubis Eastern Bypass located at the Rubis Petrol Station on the Eastern Bypass in Ruiru, Kenya, and I must say, it was an experience worth sharing! I decided to stop by around 10 AM, as I was looking for a cozy place to recharge before heading into my hectic day.
Upon arrival, I was welcomed by the warm ambiance and the delightful aroma of freshly brewed coffee wafting through the air. The decor was both relaxed and sophisticated, making it an ideal spot for anyone—from professionals holding meetings to families enjoying brunch.
I was in the mood for something sweet and decided to try one of their famous pastries. I opted for their exquisite croissant, which is not just a breakfast item but an experience in itself. I can confidently say that it was one of the best I have ever tasted! Flaky, buttery, and fresh out of the oven, it paired perfectly with my cappuccino. The intricately crafted coffee art on top of my drink was just the cherry on top.
The value for money was immaculate! I got the combination of the croissant and cappuccino for a mere fraction of what you'd typically pay at a high-end café, making it not just a treat but a steal. All this while enjoying a peaceful morning away from the hustle of Ruiru.
What made my visit even more wonderful was the charming waiter who attended to me, Sam, whose friendly demeanor and attentive service made the experience feel even more special. He recommended the croissant, saying it was a customer favorite, and he certainly didn’t steer me wrong!
As I savored my meal, I couldn’t help but observe the diverse crowd at Artcaffé. From students working on assignments to friends catching up over lattes, and even parties discussing business deals—it was a melting pot of life, and I felt lucky to be part of the vibrant atmosphere.
