Last Saturday, I stumbled upon Artcaffé at Ring Road Parklands, Nairobi, and I must say, it was an experience worth sharing! I visited at around 10 AM, looking for a cozy spot to kickstart my weekend, and Artcaffé did not disappoint.
Upon entering, I was welcomed by a charming ambiance that was both relaxed yet sophisticated. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee mixed with baked delights enveloped me as I made my way to the counter. The selection was overwhelming in the best way possible, and I was excited to try something new!
I finally decided on their famous croissant, which was perfectly flaky and buttery. Encased within was a sumptuous layer of rich chocolate. The Artcaffé Croissant has become a signature item for a reason! At only 300 KES, it was an absolute steal for such quality. I paired it with a cappuccino, which was expertly crafted, boasting a smooth finish that lingered pleasantly on my palate.
What truly stood out during my visit was the excellent service I received from one of the attendants, whose name I believe was Peter. He was knowledgeable about the menu and offered great suggestions, ensuring my order was tailored to my tastes. It's not often that you find staff who are genuinely enthusiastic about the products they serve!
As I took my place at one of the comfortable tables, I couldn't help but notice the variety of customers surrounding me – from families enjoying breakfast to friends catching up over coffee. This versatility makes Artcaffé a perfect dining destination, suitable for all occasions. I even spotted a couple beautifully enjoying their date night with a glass of wine from the vibrant bar area.
After savoring my meal, I contemplated grabbing something for later. The bakery display was mesmerizing, filled with cakes, pastries, and other tempting treats. I left with an additional slice of their famed carrot cake, which was recommended to me and did not disappoint when I finally tasted it at home. The moist cake was generously layered with rich cream cheese frosting, making it a delightful companion for a quiet evening.
The total for my visit was remarkably reasonable, considering the high quality of both the food and the service. I left Artcaffé feeling content, with a smile on my face and a little more pep in my step thanks to the delicious coffee. I would highly recommend Artcaffé The Oval for anyone in the mood for great food, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere. They have something for everyone, and I'm already looking forward to my next visit!
