Traveling through Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO) can be quite the adventure, but my recent visit to Artcaffe JKIA turned an ordinary layover into an extraordinary experience. Arriving at around 3 PM, I was immediately drawn in by the inviting aroma of freshly baked pastries wafting through the air.
Artcaffe is a beautiful bakery, coffee shop, bar, and restaurant all in one. The cozy atmosphere was just what I needed as I awaited my next flight. I decided to indulge in their famous chocolate croissant (KSh 250) and a cup of their artisanal cappuccino (KSh 400). As I took my first bite of the croissant, I was in heaven! Flaky, buttery, and filled with rich dark chocolate, it was the perfect complement to my coffee.

Her recommendations were spot on, and her friendly demeanor made me feel right at home, even in the hustle and bustle of an airport.
