Last weekend, I had the pleasure of visiting Artcaffe To-Go Hillview located at Shell Petrol Station, Karai, Karagita, Kenya. With the aroma of freshly baked goods wafting through the air, this cozy bakery coffeeshop bar promises a warm and inviting atmosphere that keeps you coming back for more.
I stopped by around 11 AM, just in time for a morning pick-me-up. The ambiance was perfect, with soft music playing in the background and a few patrons relaxing with their drinks. I could already tell that this was going to be a delightful experience.
As I approached the counter, I was welcomed by the friendly attendant, Mary, whose warm smile made me feel right at home. She recommended their signature caramel latte, priced at KSh 300, and mentioned that it pairs excellently with their freshly baked chocolate croissant, which is only KSh 150. How could I resist?
I ordered both and found a cozy corner to enjoy my treats. The caramel latte was the perfect balance of sweet and rich, making each sip feel like a hug in a cup. The chocolate croissant was flaky and buttery, filled with a luscious chocolate that melted beautifully in my mouth. My taste buds were dancing with joy!
As I savored my delicious breakfast, I couldn’t help but take in the atmosphere. The interior was charming, with comfortable seating and beautiful decor that invited you to stay longer. I observed other customers enjoying their meals—some had vibrant salads while others chatted over colorful smoothies, making it clear that there is something for everyone at Artcaffe.
Before I left, I had to thank Mary for her excellent service and recommendation. Her attentive nature and positive attitude truly enhanced my visit.
