Located at the Shell along Mombasa Road, I recently visited this gem on a Saturday evening. My friend and I were eager to dive into their menu, especially after hearing so much about their delicious offerings.
As we entered, we were greeted by the radiant smile of Goreda, who instantly made us feel welcome. Her jovial demeanor set the tone for what turned out to be an enjoyable lunch experience. With a menu boasting a wide variety of dishes, we felt spoilt for choice, including SQUAREMADE burgers, BBQ ribs, and hand-spun shakes!
After flipping through the options, we decided to try the BBQ ribs as we were part of a family meal gathering, as well as a large pizza that was highly recommended. We couldn't forget an order of the hand-spun shakes to wash it all down. The ribs were succulent with the perfect smoky flavor, and the pizza crafted by Mary did not disappoint! The generous toppings and crispy crust transported us straight to pizza heaven. Although I was a tad disappointed they didn’t offer the 1.25ml soda my friend wanted, Goreda was very understanding and explained the situation clearly. Kudos to her for being so accommodating!
While we initially faced some delays in getting our food, we were entertained by the amiable atmosphere and the patient attitude of the staff, which made the waiting time much more bearable. The restaurant buzzed with chatter and laughter, creating an inviting vibe that drew us in. And let’s not forget the fries—absolutely worth every crunchy bite! One could safely say, your fries, any day, at Big Square Bellevue, make for a delightful addition to any meal.
For dessert, we couldn't resist indulging in their iconic sundaes. With rich flavors and creamy textures, these treats wrapped up our meal perfectly, leaving us with smiles on our faces and full bellies.
Overall, our experience at Big Square Bellevue was beyond satisfactory. The excellent customer service, especially from Goreda, combined with mouth-watering food made our visit memorable. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone in the Bellevue area or passing through—just be sure to arrive hungry!
