A Taste of Italy at La Casa Di Nico Ristorante

If you're searching for an unforgettable Italian dining experience in The Village Market, look no further than La Casa Di Nico Ristorante. I visited this charming restaurant on a sunny Saturday afternoon, and I must say, it was a delightful culinary journey that exceeded all my expectations.

From the moment I walked in, the ambiance was inviting, with soft Italian music playing in the background. The staff greeted me warmly, and I was promptly seated by my wonderful waiter, Luca, who was both attentive and knowledgeable about the menu.

After browsing through their extensive selection of contemporary Italian cuisine, I decided to indulge in two of their popular pasta dishes: Spaghetti Carbonara and Linguine Allo Scoglio.

  • Spaghetti CarbonaraSpaghetti Carbonara - for just Ksh 1,700, this dish was perfectly al dente, coated in a luscious sauce made from white wine that enhanced the flavors brilliantly.
  • Linguine Allo ScoglioLinguine Allo Scoglio - priced at Ksh 2,200, it was a seafood lover's dream, served with a generous amount of fresh shellfish, all harmonized in a white wine sauce that packed a punch.

Both dishes were abundant in flavor and absolutely hit the mark for authenticity, proving that La Casa Di Nico truly knows how to bring Italy to life on a plate. Luca recommended a fine Italian wine to accompany the meal, and it made the experience even more memorable.

The crowning glory, however, was their homemade gelato; I couldn't resist trying a scoop of their rich chocolate flavor which was the perfect end to the meal. The gelato was creamy and bursting with authentic flavor—definitely a must-have!

When I received the bill, I was pleasantly surprised. The total cost for the dishes and gelato was incredibly reasonable considering the high quality of food and service. I left La Casa Di Nico feeling satisfied, fulfilled, and eager to return.

The restaurant's location at The Village Market makes it an easy stop whether you're shopping or simply looking for a place to unwind with delicious food and a fine glass of wine. Whether you're a local or just passing through, La Casa Di Nico Ristorante is a culinary gem you won't want to miss!
