A Warm Experience at Artcaffe To-Go on Thika Highway

Recently, I had the delightful experience of visiting Artcaffe To-Go located at the TotalEnergies Thika Highway service station in Thika, Kenya. It was a cozy afternoon, and I decided to pop in for a quick snack and a cup of their renowned coffee.

As soon as I stepped into the bakery coffee shop, I was welcomed by the aromatic scent of freshly brewed coffee and baked goods that enveloped the space. The ambiance was warm, inviting, and perfect for a quick bite or a leisurely meal. It was about 3 PM when I arrived, and the place had a lively yet relaxed vibe.

After glancing through the menu, I was tempted to try their famous chocolate croissant (KSh 150) and a steaming cup of cappuccino (KSh 200). I was particularly excited about the croissant, which I had heard was a must-try! As I placed my order, I was greeted with a friendly smile from Josephine, the attendant, who was attentive and made the ordering process a breeze.

While I waited, I noticed a few other patrons enjoying their meals, from salads to sandwiches, and I could see the passion the staff put into their work. When my order arrived, I was thrilled; the chocolate croissant was flaky and packed with rich chocolate, complemented perfectly by the creamy cappuccino that had a delightful frothy finish.

Each bite of the croissant was a little piece of heaven. The combination of textures—crisp on the outside, soft and indulgent on the inside—was simply divine. The cappuccino was equally impressive; it had the perfect balance of coffee and milk, making it a comforting companion to my treat.

What stood out was not just the delicious food but the overall vibe of Artcaffe To-Go. It’s the ideal stop for anyone on the go or looking for a place to unwind. Josephine, the attendant who served me, was incredibly friendly and made me feel right at home. Her recommendations were spot-on, and it was clear that she truly cared about the customers’ experiences.

As I enjoyed my treats, I couldn’t help but think how nice it is to have such a lovely establishment right off the busy Thika Highway. Whether you’re traveling through or a local, I highly recommend stopping by Artcaffe To-Go for your caffeine fix or a quick snack. It's places like this that elevate the dining experience above just food; they make you feel valued and cherished.

If you find yourself in Thika, I highly recommend visiting Artcaffe To-Go—especially for that chocolate croissant and cappuccino. You won't regret it!
