An Unforgettable Culinary Journey at Mama Ashanti Waterfront

On a delightful Saturday afternoon, I had the pleasure of dining at Mama Ashanti Waterfront located in Kuwinda Langata, Nairobi, Kenya. As someone who appreciates good food and a cozy atmosphere, I was excited to explore the flavors of West Africa. I had heard rave reviews about this place, and it did not disappoint!

Upon arrival, I was greeted by the welcoming smiles of the staff. One standout was Grace Murage, the waitress who attended to me. Her cheerful demeanor set the tone for a wonderful dining experience. She was incredibly attentive, friendly, and made sure everything ran smoothly from start to finish. Her service was exemplary, and I could see why many patrons highly recommend her!

The menu boasted a variety of enticing dishes, making it hard to choose. Eventually, I settled on the Grilled Fish with Rice and Spinach Sauce. The presentation was impressive and it made my mouth water before I even took a bite!

When it arrived, I was immediately captivated by the aroma that filled the air. Taking my first bite, I was blown away by the flavors. The fish was perfectly grilled, tender, and juicy, while the spinach sauce added just the right amount of zest. The rice complemented the dish beautifully, providing a delicious base for the flavors. Honestly, it was some of the best fish I have ever had! Plus, the generous portion made it a great value for money.

To round off my experience, I enjoyed the ambience of the restaurant, which was vibrant and full of life. The music added to the essence of West African culture, making me feel like I was dining in a home away from home.

Besides the grilled fish, Mama Ashanti also offers an array of other delicious options such as the Jollof Spaghetti and Burger and Fries. I noticed many tables around me were enjoying these dishes too, and they looked mouth-watering! It’s clear that the entire menu deserves a spotlight.

Overall, my visit to Mama Ashanti Waterfront was nothing short of fabulous. The combination of great food, a welcoming atmosphere, and excellent service made me feel valued as a customer. Grace truly added a personal touch that made my experience memorable. I left the restaurant with a satisfied belly and a happy heart, eager to return for more.
