As someone who enjoys exquisite dining experiences, I recently had the pleasure of visiting Tamtam's Fresh Seafood & Kitchen located on Mombasa Road in Nairobi, Kenya. Arriving at around 6 PM, I was greeted by a warm atmosphere that set the perfect stage for an indulgent meal.
Upon entering, the first thing that struck me was the cleanliness of the establishment. It was clear that hygiene is a priority at Tamtam’s. I was quickly seated, and just moments later, my delightful waiter, whose name I unfortunately didn’t catch, was ready to take my order.
With the aroma of fresh seafood wafting through the air, I decided to order the Koana Snapper Fillets (skin-on) priced at KES 1,650 per kg. I was also intrigued by the Steaks Norwegian Salmon, which were listed at KES 4,500 per kg, so I knew I would need to save room for that as well!
The Koana Snapper Fillets arrived beautifully plated and steaming hot. The flavor was nothing short of heavenly, with a perfect balance of seasonings that enhanced the natural taste of the fish. Every bite was a delight, showcasing the freshness and quality that Tamtam's is known for. I couldn’t help but echo the sentiments of other diners when they said, “The food was amazing especially octopus and shrimps. Amazing customer care too!”
Speaking of customer care, the service was incredibly attentive. My waiter frequently checked in to ensure that everything was satisfactory. The food was served promptly, and I appreciated the attention to detail that went into the presentation of each dish.
Not wanting to miss out on their other offerings, I took note of their signature dish, the octopus, and the shrimps, which had received rave reviews from fellow patrons. It seems like I will have to return for those juicy seafood delights!
